Recently we fitted out a Fuso Canter FG84 with a Reverse Camera, LED lights and BMS.

Today we worked on a customers Fuso Canter which has a Palomino slide-on camper on it. We had some Accessories fitted to it and had a look at the charging systems that were in there.

Some of the items we fitted were:

• Redarc Battery Management System and external 240v inlet
• Rear Anderson Plug 
• Spotlights on bullbar with floor switch 
• 2 awning lights on each side and 1 on the rear 
• Dual Reversing camera setup mounted in dash 
• Central locking kit

The first thing we installed the installed is a Redarc Battery Management System. This was installed because the existing charging systems were not able to communicate and work together, causing charging problems in the Fuso itself and the Palomino slide-on. After fitting the 12V Redarc BMS, all systems are charging cohesively and providing power to the Fuso and Slide-On at optimal performance.

We also fitted a reverse camera on the dash, with two cameras, one located on the tray of the truck for when the Palomino is not attached, and one on the back of the Camper. The Reverse Camera dash setup in the cab of the truck has a toggle switch that allows you to switch between the camera on the tray and the camera on the back of the Camper.

The next thing we have done is fitted 5 LED white lights on the Camper, which also switch to insect repellent lights. We also fitted two spotlights on the bulbar of the Fuso Canter. This type of setup is very convenient for when you are going off road or camping.
